Overview
Every banking app on the planet shows you the past. What you spent. Where it went. How much is left right now. Ahead does the opposite. It connects to your bank accounts, learns the shape of your income and expenses, and projects them forward week by week so you can see where you'll actually be in a few months. And, more usefully, what changes if you change something.
Features
- Forecast. Three months of history and an eight-month forward projection per account.
- Recurring detection. Salary, rent, mortgage and subscriptions identified automatically.
- Probabilistic bands. A most-likely path with realistic high and low scenarios, not a single false-precision number.
- Scenario stacking. Layer what-ifs (job change, rent increase, new expense, savings goal) and the forecast recomputes live.
- Goal tracking with ETA. Tell Ahead what you're saving for. It tells you when you'll get there.
- One-off events. Model a trip or refund or sale without disturbing the recurring picture.
- Side-by-side scenarios. Two futures, one screen.
Status
Solo-founded. MVP in build. Launching to Australia in August 2026. The CDR partner work and the forecasting model are the two pieces of the puzzle right now; everything else is product.
Background
After years building money products for other people, the thing I still wanted personally didn't exist. Not a budgeting app. Not a better dashboard. Just a tool that answers, honestly, "where am I going to be?" without me having to keep a spreadsheet alive in my head. So I'm building it.
